Summer silence
Flashes of light,
fireflies flickering in the evening,
birds chattering excitedly,
suddenly silence within, silence without
absolute undisturbed silence
reverberating in my awareness,
inner and outer silence
flowing in a seamless stream
in the continuum of infinity,
sound of silence
in a summer evening.
